I used to be President of my County Heart Association, then on the State Board of Directors of the NC Heart Association....withdrawing from the latter when I was elected to the NC General Assembly where I served for eight years. I have had two DVTs....first one put me in the hospital for about a week and the second, almost a year later, put me in the floor and totally out. Am on Coumadin now alternating between 5 and 7 1/2 mg. Although I am using a vitamin from Vitacost (NSI) designed for the same target population as your vitamin, I am delighted to know you are out there. Following the publicity surrounding reporter David Bloom's untimely death during early stages of Iraq invasion (he was in a tank as you might recall...doing night pool reporting) his wife wrote a book and appeared on Larry King Live (CNN); I tried to start a nation-wide organization such as this, but found little interest. Apparently you have met with some success, and I strongly salute you and admire what you are doing. If I can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to call upon me.
